JUAN ARCAS is the Managing Director of Tipik, a company specialised in institutional communication. He is a Spanish national who was educated in Belgium and has over 20 years of professional experience. He studied Linguistics at the ULB and holds a Master in Symbolisation.

Over recent years, Juan Arcas has been responsible for overseeing the management and decision-making of many major EC projects. He has played an active managerial role in framework publishing contracts, communications services of technical assistance offices and organising promotional campaigns and conferences.

Mr Arcas oversaw the communications campaign for the launch of the euro. He ran the InfEuro magazine for the European Commission between 1997 and 2001.
